How it works

A coin launched on Parrot Pad has an echo pot. The coin's own X account posts. Holders echo the post: they quote it with their own words. When the round closes, every echoing holder who held through the post gets a share of a slice of the pot, weighted by what he held. More echoes unlock a bigger slice, up to the round cap at the dev's echo target.

The reward is a holder reward. An echo is the check-in that says you are here; it is never a price per post. There is no required text and the share is capped per wallet.

Where the money comes from

  • Creator fee. The coin's pump creator is its own account on the pad. Every lamport of creator fee is split: treasury cut first (10 %), then the dev's echo share (0-80 %, chosen at launch, fixed for the coin) out of the dev's part, the rest is the dev's. With the defaults: pad 10 %, pot 45 %, dev 45 %.
  • Deposits. The dev at launch, anyone later, from 0.001 SOL.
  • Nothing is printed. If the echo share is 0, the pot is deposits only.

A round

  1. The dev posts on X and opens a round with the post link, signed by the dev wallet. The pad's attestor checks the post is by the coin's account, not a reply and fresh.
  2. For 24 hours holders paste links of their quotes. Up to 5 quotes per X account go in; at close only the earliest valid one counts.
  3. At close every quote is read again (deleted ones drop out), holdings are measured from 6 hours before the post to the close, and the root of all payouts is posted with a public report.
  4. Unlocked = pot x 30 % x echoes / target (at most the round share). The program computes it, not the attestor.
  5. After a 2 hour veto window anyone can claim for anyone for 14 days. Unclaimed SOL goes back to the pot.

One round at a time per coin, at most one per round length. If the coin's account goes quiet for 7 days, anyone can open a plain holder drop so no SOL stays stuck.

Binding X

Post parrot bind <first 8 of your wallet> <any code> from your X account, paste the link on your page and sign. One X account binds one wallet. The X account must be older than 30 days, and a bind counts for posts made 3 days after it. Unbind returns the rent.

How payouts are checked

  • Your weight is the smallest balance you held in the window, per token account. Buying after the post gives 0; selling mid-round lowers it.
  • Each wallet counts between 0.01 % and 1 % of the supply. The coin's dev wallet never gets a share.
  • The report with every input, sample and proof is published before the root goes on chain; its hash is stored on chain. The guardian can veto a wrong root inside the veto window.
  • Each payout = round total x your weight / all weights, computed by the program.

Trust points

  • Attestor (the pad's service) reads X: it decides which binds and posts are real and which wallets are in a round with which weights. Bounded on chain: the round total by the unlock formula, each wallet by the weight bounds, claims by the total, never the dev wallet, plus the veto window and the published report.
  • Guardian can veto any root in the veto window and revoke the attestor. It cannot move SOL.
  • Admin can pause new coins, deposits, binds and rounds, and change future parameters behind a 24 hour timelock. It can never move SOL or tokens. Claims, collects, payouts and closes work while paused.
  • Program par7Q...e2zU (upgradeable).

Risks

  • X policy: X can limit accounts that pay for posts. This is why the reward is a holder reward weighted by holding and never a price per post.
  • The pad reads X through its public embed data, which is undocumented and can change or rate-limit. Then binds and rounds stop and the holder drop takes over after the quiet period.
  • Payouts trust a published snapshot. pump.fun platform rules apply. The program is upgradeable and unaudited by a third party.
